CINQUE CIOCCOLATO SMOOTHIE BOWL
Cinque Cioccolato Smoothie Bowl
So here I am sitting in my kitchen or what will be my kitchen when it’s finished, typing recipes onto my computer and just finishing off devouring this creamy bowl of deliciousness. Its a sunny autumn (fall) day and it’s this kind of weather that makes you feel good to be alive even if I am coughing and splattering.
Do you ever crave something so much so, especially when you’re unwell? Well let me tell you, nothing puts me off food, but it seems that I tend to crave Chocolate, especially when unwell. No, not the stuff in the shops. The only resemblance between that and real chocolate is the colour. Im talking about real chocolate made from a few ingredients like raw cacao, cacao butter and a natural sweetener like maple syrup, coconut nectar or coconut sugar. Not one that you need a science degree to work out the ingredients. Real chocolate, the way it should be, full of antioxidants and flavour, satisfying your craving at one piece and not a whole block and then dealing with the consequences of the sugar spikes.
From raw cacao, to cacao nibs, chocolate sauces, choc rocks and creamy mylk choc truffles is born this…..Cinque Cioccolato translating to 5 chocolates and it surely lives up to it’s name.
Not to mention the other goodies that are in amongst all that chocolate like the creaminess of the frozen bananas and avocado, to the Ashwagandha powder which gives you a pick me up and helps reduce stress among other things, no need for drugs to make you feel good! Then theres the pepita butter, nothing but mooshed up pumpkin seeds and a great source of antioxidants and magnesium. Now for a healthy dose of probiotics I’ve used Coyo Brand natural coconut yogurt. Are there anymore reasons as to why you should try it, yes definitely but I’m not here to sell you anything. I’m sharing something with you because it tastes good and is good for you – simple as that!
Now you might think I’m babbling on and I’m sorry if it seems like that. Everyday of my life I’m creating recipes and I get excited. I’m trying to improve my health and in the process help you too! If eating something delicious has benefits other than filling a hole in your tummy at meal times then why not give it a go? What have you got to lose?
Ok I’ll stop the babbling, finish typing this recipe then go outside for the last of todays sunshine and warmth. If you decide to make it then leave a comment and send me a photo. Love to see your creations.
