The lighthouse (La phase du Cap Ferret)Then we drove a little further and parked the car (boulevard de La Plage ). This beach has a view of the Dune of Pilat, which is the largest sand dune in Europe. A small stroll along the shore and you are at L’herbe, the oyster farmers village. Stop off and enjoy some of the freshest oysters around. €49 it cost us for four people- 12 oysters, shrimps, terrine, bread(for those that can eat it) and white wine.
