PINEAPPLE SURPRISE SMOOTHIE
Pineapple Surprise Smoothie
Theres nothing like a holiday in a foreign land but you suffer with allergic reactions to foods and have an auto immune disease it can be quite difficult to nourish your body as you would back home.Β Depending on where you travel to, you may be able to take something like a small nutra bullet blender or check with the accomodation if they have a blender that you can use so that you can make your own drink.
So the first thing I did when I came home was make this Pineapple Surprise Smoothie. It is what I chose to feed my body as my first meal. The broccoli powder is totally hidden, nobody could detect it and what a great way to give kids or fussy eaters that extra hit of vegetables, all in a tasty and nutritious drink.
Besides the good fats, magnesium, antioxidants and vitamins, this Pineapple surprise smoothie is deliciously refreshing and there is no need to add sweeteners. That in itself is a bonus as lots of foods and drinks these days are laden with sugar and sweeteners.
The pineapple surprise smoothie is easy to put together and the broccoli powder is available in Woolworths supermarkets in the health food aisle, as well as some health food stores.Hope you like the pineapple surprise smoothie as much as much as I do.
